The doctor threw me a wary look and then shot a hesitant look at Rhydian.

He only shrugged, “Well then leave some pain meds for her. If she feels like it, she will have them.”

Saying so, he walked out of the room without another word. Meanwhile, Gideon came to sit beside me.
