Gemma reached out to take them, but Gideon shot her a look that stopped her cold.

Gideon said, "Sir Declan, these were a gift from Grandpa."

Gemma instantly realized just how much those beads meant to Declan. She said, "Sir Declan, these beads are really special. They're meant to bring you good luck. You should keep them."
