Gideon turned and shot Gavin a brief look.

'No way Gemma is not home,' Gideon thought, eyes narrowing in disbelief.

Last time Gemma came home late, she promised it wouldn't happen again.

Gavin sauntered out of the elevator and followed Gideon inside.

The house was dead quiet. Gideon strode straight to the bedroom and pushed the door open. Only then did it hit him that Gemma really wasn't home.
