Expecting Trouble
“You do remember that I’m pregnant, right, Dad?” Vivienne arched a brow, arms folded across her chest.
Richard Caldwell leaned back in his chair and let out a long sigh. “Come on, Vivienne. You’ve overseen the gala every year. What’s the problem now?”
“Well, for starters,” she deadpanned, staring at him pointedly, “I wasn’t pregnant every other year.”
“Touche.” He rubbed his temples before sitting
