Beatrice couldn't help but speed up. She remembered she had a small bottle of pepper spray in her bag. So, she hurriedly searched through her bag while continuing to walk quickly.

Holding the pepper spray in her hand, she turned around, ready to use it as a self-defense. Their eyes met, and she froze for a moment.
