Speak of the Devil

When Clara received the call, she was still wondering why Daphne called her.

When the call went through, there was only noise from the surroundings.

"Daphne?" she called out, but no one answered. "Where are you?"

Clara called out again, but she still could not hear any reply. Clara guessed that something must have happened to Daphne.

Declan was still in the bathroom. Clara could not wait. Although
