The girls and I were walking behind the three strange vampires with their pale eyes and even paler skin, while Kaelen, Garry, Rhys and Corbin brought up the rear. They were deep in conversation about battle strategies and Ethereal Shifters.

"So, are you gonna keep all of that to yourself?" Bessie asked as she squeezed my arm tightly. "You remember Kaelen now, and I'm so happy for you."
