{Harper's POV}

"No, we're not doing this anymore! I’m done with it!”

Those words hung in the air and Moretti reacted to my raised voice as his expression grew tighter.

Some seconds went by, then he spoke. "Done with what?"

"This thing," I said, motioning vaguely between us. "This bodyguard arrangement."

"It's not an arrangement."

"Well, whatever it is."

I stood up now. "There is no danger here, M
