Ethan did not answer Varek's question. Instead, a crimson scimitar appeared in his hand.

"You lied to me. You're not an adventurer at all.

"No real adventurer could possibly know my name or know all this information about me."

Ethan sounded completely sure of himself.

He raised the crimson scimitar, pointing it at Varek as he said in a low voice,

"You said you're an adventurer to make me think you
