"What are you doing, Dominic? Let go of me." Evangeline struggled in embarrassment. If it weren't for the darkness, everyone could see her cheeks which were as red as tomatoes.

Dominic frowned and asked, "Didn't you say your leg hurts?"

Evangeline replied, "But I can walk."

"It's not a problem for me. The road is slippery in the dark, so I don't want you to fall again. It's not a long way, anyway.
