Calling Daphne Daffy meant business. She kept reminding Dante and me never to call her Daffy again, but it sort of just comes out whenever I’m annoyed with her. I use it a lot more than Dante because I’m in business with Daphne, and now we have to deal with something personal.

“I know you know where she is,” I insisted. “Tell me. Now.”

I could hear her breathing fire on the other end of t
