I had to admit, at some point in my secret relationship with Griffin, I had thought of us being out in the open. I had wished for people to see us together, to see me as someone worthy of Griffin Addler. All of that vanished when he slapped that check and NDA in my face. I meant it when I cut off all communication with him, not just to grab his attention.
