Evelina had invited us to join their fun, but Darius stood up, offering his hand to me as the music grew louder while the others gathered, giving us our own moment.

"May I have this moment to dance with me, my little wolf?"

I glanced at him, the corner of my lips lifting as I took his hand and let him help me up.
