“Nina is representing Milla,” Leo said quietly as we sat on a park bench and watched Gia chase Bruno around.

My head snapped toward him. “What do you mean, representing?”

“As in, Nina is Milla’s lawyer.”

“For what reason?”

“I’m not sure.” He merged onto the highway. “Right now, it sounds like she’s handling the DNA testing. Once that’s done, there could be… other legal issues.”

“Goddammit.
