Victor left shortly after introducing me to my new bodyguards. I thought he might have breakfast with the children and me, but apparently, he never did. He startled me when he bent down for a goodbye kiss. I didn’t think he was the type of man for public displays of affection, but maybe that kiss was meant to show dominance. Still, his lips on mine felt nice.
