CAMILLA'S POV

His voice was so unnervingly cold and flat that it made me physically jump. The disapproval radiating from him left zero room for questions. My chest tightened, squeezing the breath right out of my lungs before I could even formulate a rational thought to defend myself.

"They didn't match the flowers in my bouquet," I said. The excuse tumbled out of my mouth in a panicked, breathl
