Lilith approached Mateo's table, not far from ours, and sat on his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I'm truly sorry, Mateo, but Alpha Ronan was the one who influenced me to propose the rejection," she confessed, causing murmurs to erupt. Ronan interjected,

"I don’t deny it. He and his father have displayed questionable behavior. I noticed it during Luna Calliope's coronation."
