Calliope’s POV

“Knox, who is this?" asked a middle-aged man whom I presumed to be Alpha Alaric. Knox replied confidently, "She's my mate. I met her when I was leaving the airport after dropping off my friend."

The atmosphere shifted as if he had just dropped a bombshell. "Your mate?" the woman standing beside the Alpha inquired. Knox took my hand and led me towards them.

"Mom, dad, this is Calliop
