If someone had told me that I would survive being shot and stabbed with a poisoned knife, I wouldn't have believed it. I was prepared to die peacefully, feeling that I had settled my debts with those who deserved it.

However, not only did I survive, but I also found myself in one of the rarest friendships in the world. At times, I felt incredibly fortunate, living in both worlds.
