A Sterling Homecoming

No sooner had Valerie disembarked from the plane than she received a call from Gavin. “Are you back?”

“Yeah, I just got off the plane.”

“Okay. Harvey will pick you up.”

Smiling, Valerie stepped onto the escalator. “Sure.”

“Spend some time with Grandpa. I won't be in Hawkcliff for the next few days, but I'll be visiting Opalbay next month. We can have dinner then.”

“All right.”

“Be careful.”
