Declan turned around, frowning as he regarded Kendall. "What are you trying to say?" His tone quickly took on a hint of anger.

"Nothing. I was just asking," she replied immediately.

As he stared at her, he suddenly curled his lips into a mocking smile. "Do you still think I would deceive you for Chloe?"

"I'm going to the kitchen." She sidestepped him, not wanting to continue this conversation.
