Declan tossed his phone aside and felt that Kendall had regained consciousness. Then, he turned his head to look at her.

Kendall, feeling like an ostrich, couldn't maintain her pretense under Declan's penetrating gaze. Opening her eyes, she tried to appear as if everything was normal after their intimacy and looked at him and said, "I'll call Tessa. I'm worried about her."
