Declan looked in the direction of Kendall's voice, pursing his thin lips for a few seconds before saying, "I saw two blankets on the bed in Grandma's room just now. She probably feels cold. Why don't you go get it?"

Kendall thought for a moment. "Never mind."

If Miriam truly felt cold, Kendall absolutely wouldn't take it.

If Miriam realized something, then Kendall would be making it too obvious.
