A Scandalous Surprise

At first glance, it looked as if someone had spilled a bucket of red paint all over the room. Blinding red filled every corner. A thick layer of rose petals carpeted the entire floor. In the center lay the tackiest gesture of all, in the form of a giant heart shape meticulously arranged from whole roses.

There were also scented red candles and ambient mood lighting. Not a single detail was spared.
