"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" Maeva snapped her eyes open the next morning to see Nadine standing there by the side of the bed as she stared at her with a face full of smiles. She forced herself up with a smile to hug her. Feeling like she was forgetting something, she turned to look at bed in hopes of finding him asleep but he wasn't there.
