Watching the Watchers

A frown surfaced on Kaelen's lips as he stared at his reflection in the bathroom mirror, and then he splashed water on his face.

“How is she holding up?" Kaelen mumbled, squeezing his fists.

“Good morning!" K's voice echoed into the bathroom. "Boss, are you in here?”
