Echoes of the End

After the storage space grew larger, the supplies they had collected now looked small. They took up only a tiny corner inside it.

Above the mining site rose the mountains, now close enough for them to clearly see how lifeless they had become.

A stream once ran through the factory area, but it had long since dried up. Only cracked, yellow riverbed soil remained.
