Callum felt uneasy. The thought of Sadie leaving the neighborhood alone twisted something tight in his chest.

Sadie paused. She lowered her voice. "Callum, why do I feel like you have a lot stored up too?"

She had the courage to trade because her storage space held more supplies than most people could dream of.

Callum only had a few safe houses. That should not be enough to stockpile very much.
