"Flora, Kael." Maeve called, walking to where her kids had been sitting moments ago. The balcony was now empty. They were gone.

"Declan, have you seen the kids?" Maeve asked, turning to him.

"They were here just now, watching people arrive," he replied. He had left them there for a moment to get water, and now they were nowhere to be seen. The two stood looking around.
