Sunlight was so obstinate. Even after my curtain had been doubled, it still found a tiny hole to get into my room, then on my face till I rolled over and almost landed on the bare floor.

I felt lighter, strangely, and I planned to go through the day as simply as possible, without complications. I had no nightmares either, and I didn't wake up with an ache in my chest.
