Try as I might, I was unable to reach Rowena through our mind-link. I had no way of knowing if she was safe or not.

We were close to the battle by then. Will had the van screeching to a halt on the Solari border, just outside of the forest where the battle raged beyond. I used the Alpha mind-link to reach out for Roxy instead, hoping that she would be able to tell me exactly where Rowena
