Inside the hall, the members of the Vance family were all sitting upright, nerves tense.

Declan and Clara were seated facing south, with Dorian and Miriam on their left. On their right were Rhys and Corinne, while Hector sat opposite Declan. Other individuals found their respective seats.

The butler stood behind Declan, adhering to the instructions given by Arthur before his passing. From now on,
