"Better safe than sorry," Gideon said as he looked at the bandage on Tess's arm, frowning slightly. "You can't leave the hospital until your arm is fully healed."

Tess was dissatisfied with this restriction. "How is that possible? This isn't a serious injury. I should be able to leave the hospital tomorrow, right? I can just come back for regular dressing changes. The company can't do without me."
