Chapter 21

There was something calming about the sound of the city early in the morning. The soft buzzing of people starting their day was enough to get me awake. And since the house is located on a hill, the wind was also pretty nice.

Somehow, I have gotten used to waking up even before the sun rises. I got up from my bed just at the same time when Kier winnowed inside my chamber.
