Malcolm did not ask Valerie why she was with Alaric. He told her the dietary details for Alaric's recuperation. Valerie jotted them down and placed the note on the fridge.

Malcolm shook his head and asked Brooks and Jaxon, "What has Alaric done? How is he so popular with women?"

Valerie blushed.
