Sadie gritted her teeth. Without looking at Bridget, she said loudly, "We're here to pick a bone with Bridget. Valerie didn't lay a finger on Bridget. Bridget roughed herself up to frame Valerie, and she forced us all to be witnesses." She pointed at Donovan and added, "When that man showed up and saw Bridget on the ground, he joined us in admonishing Valerie, too."
