Misguided Loyalty

Tessa turned her attention to Daphne after she confirmed that Aria had indeed arrived. Seeing Daphne's pale face, Tessa asked, "Daphne, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"

Daphne glanced at Eleanor beside her and forced a smile. "I'm fine."

But Tessa could see right through Daphne's forced smile. "What's really going on?" She leaned slightly forward, looking to the other side of Daphne, and f
