"Are you trying to start a war between packs, Damon?" I snapped, staring at him, stunned beyond belief.

He didn’t flinch. He just stood there, chest rising and falling, jaw tight with defiance. “I don’t trust Lucius,” he said finally. “I was being extra cautious.”

“Cautious?” I blinked, heat rushing to my face. “We discussed this. You promised me, Damon. You said you wouldn’t interfere wit
