Valeria’s POV

I quickly got out of the car as soon as it came to a halt and went over to the back seat. I opened the door and reached for the shopping bags, grabbing a few while Giselle held the rest. As I waited for her to step out, she gave me a bright smile and thanked me again for coming with her. I returned the smile faintly, feeling that flutter of warmth that always came with her presence.
