Crossing the Line

I chucked the paper at Declan, and it smacked him in the face. He gave me a look like I'd lost my mind, picked it up, and looked it over carefully. Then he looked at me, all wide-eyed. "You're pregnant?"

I thought Declan was meticulous, but shock could make anyone lose their composure. "Look at the name clearly," I coldly reminded him.

Declan finally noticed it was Chloe's name on the paper. His b
