My days in the secluded house were simple and peaceful.

I was busy carving wood when Heidi suddenly shut off her phone, looking super pissed while mumbling under her breath.

"What's got you all grumpy over there?" I shot her a glance.

She hurriedly looked up, replying, "Nothing! Just don't check your phone these days. It's all a bunch of trash news."

I chuckled, "Are you referring to t
