"I used to feel the same way. My dad was getting much better and I even thought about taking him home. How could his condition suddenly get critical? And Tessa got killed soon after I visited her. It can't be a coincidence," I replied.

With a sigh, I went on, "But then, I feel like I shouldn't deny reality just because I couldn't accept it. I had asked Beta Colton about what had happen
