I woke to sunlight.

Not the gray filtered light of Noxgarth's perpetual shadow, but actual warm sunlight streaming through windows someone had opened while I slept. It hurt my eyes and I turned my face away, groaning at how my entire body ached like I'd been trampled by horses.
