Just by the look on Vittoria‘s face it felt as if I had entered a battlefield. Carmine and Nico were seated next to Vittoria and while Carmine and Nico gave me a nod of acknowledgment Vittoria did not.

“Tessa, please sit!” Carmine guided me to the table while Tito scoffed and walked past me to sit next to Nico.

“I thought I scheduled a meeting with the Capaldi’s for you today,” Carmine told Alessi
