Rhea’s POV

I could feel my cheek swelling from the force and the cut in my lip dripping with blood. The moment he saw the blood on my face, I could see the horror in his eyes. He released me quickly and stepped back, holding up his hands.

The motion of him holding up his hands though caused me to flinch, which caused hurt to flash in his eyes.

“Rhea… I’m—”

“Don’t touch me,” I said through my teeth
