I wasn’t blind. The guy who was hanging out in the parlor with Aurelia and Declan was incredibly attractive. He was also kind of familiar-looking. He was looking at me as if I was the only person in the world and it made my cheeks burn.

I blinked a few times and offered him a small smile before quickly leaving the room and rejoining Cal outside. He was throwing daggers at the dummies. H
