The so-called party now felt like a funeral as we stood in Orion's bedroom. Nadia was resting her head on her lap, looking exhausted from all the crying she had done. We had been waiting for an hour for her to talk, but she decided to say nothing.

"Hey kiddo, how do you feel when you look at Keegan?" I asked for the first time, deciding to break the silence.

She raised her head and
