"Alpha." Talon called softly behind me while I walked back to my bedroom.

I had to get the fuck out of that basement because it was hard to watch Rafe crying like a little kid and Vera screaming out in pain and begging him to take back his rejection. It was a mess that I didn't want to involve myself in.
