Tessa's POV

I woke up several hours later. I was still very sore. Vance was sleeping on the couch. I scooted over to the edge of the bed. The wrestling of the blankets woke him up. I quickly moved. There was no telling if he would end up tripping or something. To my surprise, he didn't trip on anything.

He slowly walked over to the bed.

"Let me help you," he stated.
