Tessa's POV

I woke up that morning and Vance was already gone. I know he kissed me on the forehead before he left. But I did not know what time it was at that moment. I rolled over and went back to sleep. I woke up some time later. Heidi was already in the room waiting for me to wake up. She had opened the curtains and was preparing a bath for me.

I got up and got undressed and got into the bat
